Rising above heartache and emotional abuse, Shadows of her depicts a story of betrayal and a woman’s struggle to reclaim her identity.  This is a story of a woman on a mission to rise above the manifestation of pain and societal expectations that have weighted her down. Nouzha Mabrouk is a BA Psychosocial Studies student at Birkbeck, with core modules including Power, Love and Hate. With a background in economics, she brings a unique perspective to her growing passion for psychosocial research and creative writing.
